Online GIVING

Valley Fire Resources

On behalf of our PUC Church, we want to send our prayers and loving assistance to our church members and community affected by the Valley Fire. Below are some ways that you can find links to help out.

DONATE TODAY TO HELP!

Visit https://www.youcaring.com/NCCCommunityServicesFireResponse

Provides assistance to people affected by these fires (through the Northern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Community Services program, which coordinates local response for food, clothing, and essential needs after a disaster).

In addtion, PUC Church is working with PUC to coordinate our efforts.

1. Financial Donations refer to WALTER COLLINS.

a. : For those interested in providing case donations to those that have lost their homes. We are working to create an online give page for financial donations for those who are a part of our community (PUC staff, faculty, church members) that will be available on PUC’s alumni page. Specifics as to who the donations will be distributed to, and where to locate this page, will be available shortly.

2. Individual Direct Requests refer to FABIO MAIA

a. : Please direct anyone who is interested in volunteering (students, staff, faculty, church members) to Fabio in the PUC Missions Office. The Missions Office will be organizing student and church volunteers as individual direct requests to PUC come through the office. This includes requests from individuals, families, and independent community businesses/ nonprofits. If you are aware of people in need and would like to share, this would be the person to contact. There are many communication channels available in that office that will activate volunteers quickly.

3. Larger County and Organizational long-term response plans refer to ALISA JACOBO

a. : Alisa is working on contacting government and relief officials for both Napa and Lake Counties to see if there are ways PUC can be a resource. As the counties are still in initial disaster containment mode, it is expected that they will have a clearer picture as to how to approach disaster relief within the next week or so. When they have had time to develop a relief plan, more information will be provided as to the larger, long-term contribution PUC may offer.
